Replicating at Speed
For the February 2015 C-MUG relaunch, NetCraftsmen’s William J. Bell, Unified Communications & Collaboration Practice Lead, CCIE #38914, and Hao Tran, Senior Unified Communications Engineer, discussed Cisco’s Collaboration Edge Architecture and how this architecture can be used to extend the benefits of in-office collaboration to a mobile workforce.
The focus was primarily on the Mobile and Remote Access (MRA) functionality and how MRA can be used to provide VPN-less voice, video, IM, and presence solutions to teleworkers.
Cisco System’s Jeff Chun also provided an overview of Cisco’s Jabber Guest technology, including use cases.
